Support in building local community resilience in flood and landslide-prone communities in the Fako Division of Limbe and its environs.
Since the start of the year 2000, landslides and floods have impacted the local inhabitants in the Limbe Southwest region of Cameroon, destroyed properties, and created suffering for the population over the years. Anthropogenic activities, a naturally fragile environment of pyroclastic soil, exacerbated by climate change impact have led to an increasing impact on the local population. A cycle of Learning, Reflection, and Mobilization of necessary actions is in place to combat the impact of increasing floods and accompanying landslides in the communities. Your support will go a long way to support this built environment and the poor inhabitants who are disproportionately impacted.
